Certified Home Inspection Services

Colorado's Best Home Inspections LLC offers a visual, non-invasive inspection process of the primary residential home or buildings such as detached garages, or out-buildings like barns, or ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units; ADU’s have many different names including carriage houses, garage apartments, alley flats, or in-law quarters. This is a second home on your property that can be attached or detached.). This includes an observation of the building or structure, systems, elements, and components as permanently installed in accordance to the InterNACHI Standards of Practice (SOP).

Each inspection covers approximately 75 areas of the home/building, consisting of approximately 400 related components of the home, including visually and physically accessible elements and components of the five major building systems of the home or building: roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems when not HOA and/or co-operatively owned and managed and/or controlled.

How Long Each Home Inspection Takes:

Typically, one hour of site service time is required for every 1,000 square feet of a property. Total Square Feet = The finished and unfinished area of the home, above and below grade. Time also depends upon existing site conditions, requested CBHI services, and any questions the Client may have at the time of inspection.

CBHI Service Protocol and Procedures are designed and developed so that CBHI services are performed while promoting a safe and clean working environment, with the utmost care, consideration, and respect for current and future Homeownership.

Inspection Reporting

A written CBHI inspection report follows approved/confirmed services performed as scheduled by CBHI, emailed to respected CBHI clients served for their reference/file/record; for more information click here.
